Hi my name is Annette Smith, the founder of Tennis4kids®.
I am a registered professional tennis coach with over 25 years of experience. I have represented Ireland as a player at Junior and Senior Levels, and have chaired the Tennis Ireland Coaches’ Association. Tennis has taken me all over the world, meeting and making new friends, and I still love it as much as ever.
Tennis is a sport for life. That’s why we’ve gathered a fantastic team of professional, highly qualified coaches to promote our mini tennis programmes and provide tennis lessons for children. Right now we are providing tennis lessons to over 2,500 primary school children across Dublin and Meath, which to me is fantastic! We offer tennis for beginners and all other levels. Think about the health benefits alone, aside from the enormous fun and enjoyment that can be had through sport activities for children! All our coaches are trained not only in giving tennis lessons but also in the Code of Ethics and Good Practice for children in Sport.
