Children’s After School Tennis Comes to Collon

We have worked with Collon NS pupils, teaching them a love of tennis for a while now. We’ve loved it, the children have loved it.

So we thought it was time to bring tennis as an after-school activity, serving the whole mid-Louth area. Pupils from Tulllyallen, Tenure, Dunleer and Philipstown are all welcome.

We make learning tennis easy.

Tennis is a skill for life – you can pick up a racket anywhere and play anyone, anytime.  It’s the sporting equivalent of playing a guitar.

Tennis4kids is a uniquely designed tennis programme for children aged between 5 and 12.  Children of all abilities and levels of co-ordination will fall in love with tennis in a safe, supportive setting.

Mini-tennis uses smaller courts, softer balls and perfect-sized rackets for smaller hands. This means your child will learn with all the fun and excitement of the real thing.

What’s great about Tennis4kids programme is that every child develops at their own pace, having fun in an enjoyable environment, even if they’ve never played before.

Our committed coaching team get to know their players and allow them to grow in confidence.

All you need to know for after school tennis:

Free equipment

We provide all the specialised equipment that your child needs which are perfect for little hands. (Just provide a water bottle as they’ll be running around).

Focus on fun

We teach through fun. Our expert coaches get to know each child and ensures that your child achieves success at their own level.

Not weather dependent

We will be inside the Maddock Rangers’ clubhouse with our own nets, balls and rackets so your child stays warm and dry.

Sibling discount

The fee is €89 per term, with a discount of €10 for second child and third child goes Free. A term is 8 weeks.

Our coaches will coach on a Thursday afternoon – from 2pm suiting all ages and surrounding school finish times.

2.00pm – 2.45pm – 5/6 years

3.00pm – 3:45pm – 6/7 years

3.45pm – 4.30pm – 8/9 years

4.30pm – 5.15pm- 10/12 years
